Welcome to the Hotel Grina in Simplon Dorf
The Hotel-Restaurant Grina is a family-run hotel in a quiet location in the centre of the charming, quaint village Simplon Dorf.
Discover this cosy house, which was built in several stages from 1964 to 1985. We have owned it since 2010, and since then several rooms have been completely renovated. Last in winter 2022.
The Grina has 13 inviting, quiet non-smoking rooms, all with shower/WC, some with balcony.
The cosy restaurant with 50 seats on the first floor and the 40-seat restaurant with bar on the ground floor are inviting places to eat and drink.
In the summer months is our special garden terrace open.
Our hotel is situated directly off the Stockalper hiking trail. It is a perfect starting point for wonderful walks, a big choice of hikes for all tastes as well as for ambitious mountain treks and climbing excursions. In a few minutes, you can reach the summit of the Simplon Pass to practice a variety of winter activities like ski touring, cross-country skiing, snow kiting and snowshoe walking, partly on marked trails.
